Bringing the Budget to Business

A budget for maximum citizen impact was discussed during a Radio Tygerberg 104fm business gathering.

Western Cape Finance Minister, Dr Ivan Meyer addressed business owners a day after he tabled the 2019/20 Western Cape budget to highlight key budget priorities within the Province.

Dennis Dykes, Economist at Nedbank commented on the Western Cape Budget and through a panel discussion with expert panellists, various aspects was discussed to highlight projects and plans aimed at growing the economy and developing communities.

In aggregate, the 2019 Provincial Budget provides for total expenditure amounting to R67.148 billion in 2019/20, R70.368 billion in 2020/21, and R74.611 billion in 2021/22.
