“Waste for Wealth”
To expand the project to the rest of Hessequa to include the smaller villages, rural areas, informal settlements and new low-cost housing developments by increasing the volume of solid waste recycled from areas serviced from 28% to 30% of all solid waste generated. AND To reduce the volume of wet household waste at source at 500 domestic sites as part of a pilot project through composting by 1- 2%.
