People Forest
The CWBR commits to planting fruit trees in the Winelands area of the Western Cape in the coming year: a) The Nursery project (A tree Propagation Nursery is being set up at DelVera to produce trees internally); b) Communities are being taught how to graft off trees they have been supplied, and propagate for their own use, or for sale to CWBR nursery for distribution elsewhere- this has been especially successful with granadillas which cover sharp fences and avoid injuries to children when playing; c) School and church gardens- the CWBR has and will implement many community gardens which sup[ply food kitchens in these institutions
