On Saturday, 23 March 2024, Provincial Minister of Mobility, Ricardo Mackenzie, will officially launch the Easter Road Safety campaign of the Western Cape Government (WCG).
The launch will include a walkabout and inspection of the free ten-point vehicle checks offered by the WCG to help motorists prepare for long-distance travel during the Easter holiday period. Various transport stakeholders have been invited. The programme will also include key road safety partners (Discovery Safe Journey to School, SANRAL Road Incident Management, and an eyecare awareness campaign).
