Notice of interruptions to normal traffic flow due to roadwork repairs on M3 (northbound) at Constantia
The traffic on the northbound carriageway of the M3 between Ladies Mile Rd Interchange (Exit 16) and Tokai Rd Interchange (Exit 21) will be affected by road repair construction works from approximately 18 :00 on Friday 18 November 2022 until 05:00 on Monday 21 November 2022. The left hand lane of the M3 between these interchanges will be closed during the construction period.
The objective of this project is to repair approximately 60m of the northbound carriageway of the M3 freeway which settled as a result of heavy winter rains. The repair works are to be carried out by Baseline Civil Contractors.
The left-hand lane of the repair works area will be closed off with concrete barriers over a distance of approximately 100m between Ladies Mile Rd Interchange (Exit 16) and Tokai Rd Interchange (Exit 21) Traffic will continue to be able to use the right-hand lane and shoulder during the construction period.
The public is requested to be patient and exercise caution during this time. The u se of alternative routes is advised to avoid possible delays.
