Media Alert: Official Opening of the D13 High Care Unit

The Neurosurgical High Care area at Groote Schuur Hospital provides service for patients with single organ failure who require intensive monitoring. This facility can be used as a step down from ICU or as a facility for patients who except for intensive monitoring do not require ventilation. Guests will be invited to take a walk around the High Care Unit area.
