World Preemie Festival - Tygerberg Hospital - 12 Nov

World Prematurity Day (World Preemie Day) is celebrated annually on 17 November.  

The Tygerberg Hospital Children’s Trust will hold its annual World Preemie Festival, from Saturday November 12 to Friday November 18, to raise money for the hospital’s neonatal ICU and programmes supporting premature babies and their mothers. 

It is being held in partnership with the Artscape Theatre Centre and the City of Cape Town and will start with a Community Fair and Fun Walk at the hospital grounds on the Saturday. The fair is open to all. 

The community fair takes place on Saturday, 12 November from 08:00. The fun day will include a 5km fun walk inside the Tygerberg Hospital grounds, live music, lucky draws, food stalls and a kid’s zone area. All these activities are open to all members of the public.
