Department of Infrastructure's Community Matters radio show and podcast

The Department of Infrastructure (DOI) piloted the Community Matters radio show on various community radio stations in the Western Cape on 20 May 2025. The show was also livestreamed online.

In the first episode, Minister Tertuis Simmers unpacked the Department of Infrastructure’s 2025/2026 Budget highlighting strategic projects and partnerships with a special focus on the below:

• Western Cape Infrastructure Framework
• New Transport Infrastructure Operational Model 
• Leeuloop announcement
• FNB title deed handover
