South Africa announced as top outsourcing destination
South Africa has been announced as the world’s top offshoring destination.
Alan Winde, Minister of Economic Opportunities, said South Africa was named Best Offshoring Destination at the Global Sourcing Association Awards, hosted in London last night (10 November 2016).
“This is great news, and an excellent achievement for our business-process outsourcing (BPO) sector. The BPO sector is delivering a boost to jobs and growth in the province, especially for young people.
“Year after year, South Africa is recognised as one of the world’s top BPO destinations. I’d like to commend the team at BPESA for their hard work in ensuring we continue to take the top spots at these awards,” said Minister Winde.
