Minister Simmers To Become Construction Worker In Belhar

Today, 19 June 2019, Minister of Human Settlements, Tertuis Simmers will lend a hand at one our flagship sites, the Belhar CBD Housing Development project.

This initiative follows Minister’s recent visits to various projects across the Metro.

Minister Simmers said: “I’m looking forward to getting my hands dirty, particularly in a mixed development site, which comprises of Social Housing, - Military Veterans – and FLISP opportunities. This project, which incorporates various green initiatives, will benefit more than 1200 individuals.”

As part of this initiative, some of the 245 units which have either been completed or handed over will also be visited. 

There will be an opportunity for interviews and photographs.
