Minister Grant to Hand over Certificates to Contractors at Award Ceremony

Donald Grant, Minister of Transport and Public Works will hand over certificates to contractors who successfully completed the Contractor Development Programme course at the Certificate Ceremony taking place at the STC: SA (Maritime Training Venue) on 9 October 2014.

The Department of Transport and Public Works’ Contractor Development Unit, as part of the Expanded Public Works Programme, hosted a six month development programme for 60 CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board) Grading 1 and 2 GB/CE Contractors.

The programme was designed to afford small entrepreneurs in the Build Environment the opportunity to acquire essentials skills to help them excel in the Industry.

The Certificate Ceremony will honour those who successfully completed the programme.
