Minister to attend Award ceremony honouring international essay winnerJoel Greek

Today, the Western Cape Social Development Minister, Adv. Albert Fritz, will attend a special award ceremony in honour of Joel Greek, the 12 year old learner from the Athlone School for the Blind, who won the Lions Clubs International essay competition.

Joel was recently in New York to receive his award at the 38th annual Lions Day ceremony held in conjunction with the United Nations, at the United Nations Headquarters.

There will be an opportunity for photos and interviews.

Date: 13 April 2016 (Today)

Time:  10:15am.

Venue: Athlone School for the blind, Beroma Estate, Athlone Street, Glenhaven, Bellville South.
