Media alert: Western Cape schools to celebrate World HIV/Aids Day

Tomorrow morning, the WCED will be hosting a World  HIV/AIDS day at Garlandale Secondary School in Athlone.

All eight Education Districts will be participating. The key theme for the days' events is "Know your Status".

The World HIV/AIDS day programme commemorates various activities throughout the day which will commence from 08h30. Community based individuals, stakeholders and organizations, hospitals, clinics, social service agencies, schools and AIDS advocacy groups, speakers and exhibiters will all be taking part in the programme creating awareness and advocacy.
