Media alert: Minister Anroux Marais to open four new libraries in Drakensten

As we safely move forward in the sector, together with the Drakenstein Municipality, Minister Anroux Marais will open 4 libraries in the region on Monday, 5 October 2020.
 
The official opening programme starts at the Groenheuwel Library: House of Learning and thereafter the plaques will be unveiled at the Chicago, Klein Drakenstein and Simondium Libraries, respectively. 
 
As we navigate to and through our new norm, we will continue monitoring the situation, and remain committed to working with our partners in the various municipalities to ensure the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on affected events and programmes will be minimized to enable safe reopening and sustainability of the sector.
