Media Alert: EMS Rescue Respond to Gas Explosion

The Western Cape Government Health: Emergency Medical Services Responded to a Gas Explosion in Contermanskloof earlier today:

16h07 -  Contermanskloof, Durbanville - One adult male was declared dead on arrival after a gas explosion in a local factory. EMS Rescuers treated and assisted nine (9) patients on the scene of the incident of which two (2) adult males suffered severe wounds and were therefore airlifted to Milnerton Mediclinic by AMS and ER24. Four (4) adult females and two (2) adult males sustained minor to serious injuries and were transported to private facilities. The full tally of patients was 10 in all (including the deceased).
