Mayor to Sign 50 Year Lease Agreement with Christel House South Africa

On Friday, 9 November, Mayor Helen Zille will sign a 50 year lease with Christel DeHaan, Founder of Christel House South Africa, which will enable her organisation to continue its work amongst the disadvantaged children of our city.

The eight hectare site will house a privately funded school for children from impoverished communities in Cape Town, a health clinic, and centres for welfare, community development, business development, skills development and substance abuse and an Aids orphanage.
