Alan Winde sworn in as Premier of the Western Cape

The first sitting of the 6th Parliament of the Western Cape took place today, Wednesday 22 May, where members of the Provincial Parliament were sworn in. This was followed by the election of the Speaker, Deputy Speaker and Premier.

We congratulate Alan Winde who was elected as our Premier, and later sworn in by Judge President John Hlophe.
