The Leading Innovative Partnerships in Extended Education course is a six-day interactive course designed to enable positive change through the building of strong networks of support with and around schools across the extended school day.

JOIN US
Join us to learn how different education stakeholders are moving beyond individual action towards collective action with the aim of creating coherent systems of support around schools. Schools alone cannot solve the issues within our education system and if change is to be realized, a collaborative effort is required from all stakeholders across the learning journey.

This Executive Education course will equip leaders from schools, government departments, and social purpose organisations working with and around schools, with the tools and frameworks needed to develop and sustain innovative partnerships that improve the holistic development of learners.

With the local education system characterised by wide range of organisations working to improve learner outcomes, the opportunity for the creation of strong innovative partnerships is vital.

We have co-designed, and will be presenting, the course with Dr Allistair Witten, founding director of the Centre for the Community School at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and UCT GSB Adjunct Faculty, in partnership with the Western Cape Government’s After School Game Changer Initiative. The four consecutive Saturdays and two additional meet-up days in the year will assist schools to effectively understand, embrace and incorporate the vital contributions made by organisations in the improvement of education in South Africa.
