Metro Police Recover Stolen Goods worth R100 000

The Cape Town Metro Police Substance Abuse Unit and South African Police Services have arrested two people and recovered stolen goods worth more than R100 000.

The 31-year old man and 26- year old woman were arrested during a raid in Athlone. Among the stolen goods that were found on the premises were a boat and trailer, two digital cameras and an overhead projector.

The Metro Police Acting Deputy Chief, Wayne Le Roux, said the SAPS will investigate the matter. He appealed to the public to be vigilant and to report suspicious activities to the SAPS or Metro Police. The Metro Police all hours Control room number is 0860 765 423.
