Mayor Meets Happy Valley Residents to Discuss Housing Issues

Executive Mayor Helen Zille, Mayoral Committee Member for Housing, Councillor Dan Plato and Ward Councillor Pieter van Dalen will meet with the Happy Valley Community on Thursday, 07 September 2006, to discuss housing issues such as back-yarders, infrastructure, the informal settlement etc.

The programme is as follows:

11:00: Everyone meets at Pallet Supplies, Wimbledon Street in Blackheath Industria, Happy Valley
11:30: Tree Planting Ceremony followed by a walk-about in Happy Valley
12:00: Executive Mayor Helen Zille addresses the community at the Community Centre in Happy Valley followed by a media briefing at the Kuils River Municipal Office for a question & answer session
