City Hosts Disaster Training Exercise in Northern Suburbs

The City of Cape Town's Emergency Services is to stage a simulated aircraft disaster today (Wednesday, 10 October) at the Wolraad Woltemade Primary School in Meerhof Street, Bothasig.

The exercise forms part of International Disaster Reduction Day.

Executive Mayor Helen Zille will join the Chairperson of the De Grendel subcouncil, Cllr James Vos, at the exercise which is a partnership between the City of Cape Town, the subcouncil and Lions International.

Members of the media are invited to witness the exercise. Details are as follows:
