City host President's Award for Youth Empowerment

The City of Cape Town will host an awards ceremony for the President's Award for Youth Empowerment in the Civic Centre. Alderman Ian Neilson, Executive Deputy Mayor, will officiate.

The President's Award is affiliated to the Duke of Edinburgh's International Association which operates in over 120 countries around the world, 21 of which are in Africa. The award programme has been operating in South Africa since 1983.

Silver and bronze certificates will be awarded to 58 local learners.

Venue: Banqueting Hall, 5th Floor, Podium Block, Civic Centre, Cape Town
