Media Alert: Minister Carlisle to Deliver Keynote Address at Western Cape Women's Transport Industry Empowerment Launch

Robin Carlisle, the Minister for Transport and Public Works in the Western Cape, will deliver the keynote address at the launch of the Western Cape branch of the South African Network of Women in Transport, or SANWIT, at the Cullinan Hotel in the CBD tomorrow evening.

SANWIT is a network of women working in transport, from taxi bosses and bus, train and taxi drivers, to engineers in maritime and aviation technicians, amongst many others, aiming to improve female representation in the industry. It also aims to empower women already in business to access contracts and tenders.

Members of the media are invited to atend the Minister's speech, after which the SANWIT's Western Cape leadership will be elected.
