Media Alert: Minister van Rensburg to Visit a Foetal Alcohol Syndrome Project

Gerrit van Rensburg, Western Cape Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, will be visiting two farming projects in the Grabouw area which the Western Cape Department of Agriculture is involved in. Van Rensburg will then visit a Foetal Alcohol Syndrome project on a farm in recognition of World Foetal Alcohol Syndrome Day. You are welcome to spend the day, or portions thereof, with us.

09:00 - Kaapschon, Grabouw
10:30 - Cortina, Grabouw
14:30 - Eenzaamheid

Directions to Kaapschon from Cape Town:
Leave Cape Town on N2. Turn right after the Peregrine farm stall into Viljoenshoop road. When road forks, keep left. Continue for 2 km. On your left is Dew Hurst. On the right is Norham. Turn into Norham. Contact Alfred Cupido, Tel: 021 872 0223.

Directions to Cortina:
Leave Cape Town on N2. Drive through Grabouw towards Villiersdorp. The road takes you over a mountain pass. Drive approximately 15 km into Vyeboom. Look for Cafe on right in Vyeboom. At a further 500 metres on the left is a graveyard. Cortina is on the right immediately after graveyard. Contact Myburgh, Cell: 082 412 5158.

Directions to Eenzaamheid from Stellenbosch:
Take the R304 and cross the N1. Continue to the first four-way stop. Turn right onto the R312. Continue for 8 km. Turn right onto Eenzaamheid farm. Proceed 500 metres to the electronic security gate on your left. Dial for reception on the intercom. Contact Johanna de Waal, Cell: 083 206 1043.
