Women’s Day - Minister Fritz to host 150 Robertson women to address rural women

Today, the Western Cape Minister of Social Development, Albert Fritz, will host 150 women from Robertson and surrounding areas. These are ordinary women from various communities and women who excel in various fields in government, the private sector and NGOs for a Women’s Day stakeholder engagement.

The stakeholder engagement officially launches the Ministers campaign to focus this Women’s Month on rural communities, by specifically addressing issues affecting women living in rural areas.

Whilst in Robertson, the Minister will also hand over the Departments Victim Empowerment Programme (VEP) directory of services to the local police station.

There will be an opportunity for photographs and interviews.
