Earlier this year, 12 young cyclists participated in the Cape Rouleur Cycle Tour in Franschoek. Of those 12, two were selected by the HotChillee Development Rider Programme to compete in the London - Paris and Alpine Challenges in Europe at the end of May.
Tomorrow, 12 May 2016, Western Cape Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Anroux Marais will officially present the two development riders with their flight confirmations as funded by the Department ahead of their departure on 24 May 2016.
Thulasizwe Mxenge, a 22 year old from Khayelitsha and Marco Abrahams, a 25 years old from Belhar will spend a month of intensive training in Aigle, Switzerland before competing in the London- Paris Cycle Challenge.
