US Agency to Provide Grant to Support Rooftop Solar Plans for Western Cape Government

Erica Barks-Ruggles, Cape Town’s US Consul General and Francois du Plessis, Green Cape CEO under the auspices of the United States Trade Development Agency (USTDA) and the Western Cape Government’s (WCG) Department of Transport and Public Works, signed a grant agreement today to evaluate the feasibility of a solar project for the generation of renewable energy in Cape Town. 

Robin Carlisle, Minister of Transport and Public Works, witnessed the signing.
