On Wednesday, 17 January 2024, and Thursday, 18 January 2024, Provincial Minister of Mobility, Ricardo Mackenzie, will join traffic enforcement operations focused on Learner Transport as the new school year starts.
The Western Cape Government has a multi-pronged approach to improving Learner Transport so that all children can get to school safely. This includes regulatory interventions by the Provincial Regulatory Entity, traffic law enforcement operations, and road safety education and awareness.
