Visiting Flemish Minister to tour Youth Café with MEC Fritz

Today, the Flemish (Belgium) Minister for Culture, Media, Youth and Brussels Affairs, Sven Gatz, will join Social Development MEC, Albert Fritz, on a tour of the innovative and groundbreaking SOZO Youth Cafe.

The visit forms part of the Western Cape Governments commitment to sound international relations with regional governments from across the world, and to share ideas and innovations.

The Youth Cafés are an innovation of the Provincial Department of Social Development. They offer services primarily to young people characterized as NEETs (Not in Employment, Education or Training), and offer entrepreneurial, leadership and other skills training, including internet access for job seekers or entrepreneurs.
