Ndabeni Land Restitution Claimants Invited to Voter Education Workshop and Elections

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), the City of Cape Town CCT) and the Regional Land Claims Commission (RLCC) invite all the Ndabeni Land Restitution Claimants to attend a Voter Education Workshop and Elections for the Ndabeni Board of Trustees.

The Voter Education workshop will be conducted by the IEC on Saturday, 19 August 2006 at the Langa Sports Centre from 10:00 to 14:00 and again on Saturday, 09 September 2006 in the Langa Civic Hall also from 10:00 to 14:00. Please note that these two sessions are the same, but are repeated because the IEC wants to ensure maximum coverage to those concerned. The workshops will explain to claimants the purpose of the election, why it is important that they vote and the processes to be followed during the elections.

The Election will be held on Saturday, 16 September 2006, from 10:00 to 14:00 at the Langa Sports Centre.
