Napier school gets new junior traffic training centre

24 June 2019

The Department of Transport and Public Works and the Cape Agulhas Municipality launched the new junior traffic training centre (JTTC) at the Protea Primary School in Napier in Youth Month.

This simulated road environment features permanent miniature road signs, road markings, and a parking area. It provides a safe place for learners to learn how to use roads responsibly.

The Directorate: Road Safety Management is confident that this JTTC will become a visible symbol of road safety; a place where Napier’s children can learn good road use habits at an early age.
