N1 and N2 road closures

Airport Approach Road

There will be single lane closures on Airport Approach Road (Trunk Road 54/1) from 8pm to 5am between 9 May and 30 May 2019. Resurfacing will take place during this time.

Borcherd's Quarry Road

There will be single road closures on Borcherd’s Quarry Road (Main Road 176) from 8pm to 5am between 25 March and 15 May 2019. Resurfacing will take place during this time.

General single lane closures

There will be single lane closures on the following roads between 8pm and 5am from 25 February and 24 July 2019:

• Borcherd’s Quarry Road,
• Airport Approach Road,
• N1 Century City service road,
• Jakes Gerwel Drive at the intersection with the N2, and
• N1 near Koeberg intersection.

Because these roadworks are taking place at night, traffic is expected to flow freely, with minimum delays.

Jakes Gerwel Drive

There will be single lane closures on the ramps linking Jakes Gerwel Drive and the N2 from 8pm to 5am between 26 June and 26 July 2019.

These closures are necessary for road resurfacing to place.

Century City Service Road

There will be closures on the N1 Century City service road (Trunk Road 9/1) from 8pm to 5am between 20 May 2019 and 11 July 2019. These closures are necessary for road resurfacing to take place.

Koeberg Interchange

There will be single-lane closures on a portion of the N1 near Koeberg Interchange from 8pm to 5am between 2 July and 9 July 2019.

The affected portion of road, technically known as Trunk Road 9/1, will be resurfaced during this time.
