Minister Madikizela to brief media on resolutions to end taxi violence

Western Cape Transport and Public Works Minister, Bonginkosi Madikizela, will  tomorrow, Wednesday 30 September 2020, brief the media following months of escalating tensions and violent conflict between rival taxi associations.

The Minister will use the opportunity to unpack resolutions that have been adopted during a series of engagements with the leadership of the taxi industry in his focused efforts to end taxi violence and killings across the province and in particular on the route between Mbekweni in Paarl and Bellville.

Minister Madikizela will be joined by leaders of various taxi associations during the media briefing.
