Minister to address SALGA Provincial Women’s Month Lekgotla

Tomorrow, Minister Albert Fritz will address the SALGA Women’s Commission provincial lekgotla.

The meeting will commemorate Women’s Month, and will see the Minister discuss the importance of local government structures, and specifically their partnership with the Provincial Department of Social Development and its growing network of local offices.

The SALGA delegations will explore ways in which to mainstream gender issues, and will amongst other things establish the multi-party caucus at municipal level.

There will be an opportunity for interviews and photos.
