Min. Fritz to congratulate blind youth winner of international essay competion

Today, the Western Cape Social Development Minister, Adv. Albert Fritz, will meet and congratulate Joel Greek, a learner from the Athlone School for the Blind, who has won the Lions Clubs International essay competition.

Joel is set to jet-off to New York tomorrow morning, to receive his award at the 38th annual Lions Day with the United Nations, at the United Nations Headquarters.

Minister Fritz will be joined by the Democratic Alliance Member of Parliament and Shadow Minister of Social Development, Bridgette Masango.

Time:  11:00am.

Venue: Athlone School for the blind, Beroma Estate, Athlone Street, Glenhaven, Bellville South.
