Media Alert: MyCiTi Bus Tour to Inspect Artwork at Stations

The Mayoral Committee Member for Transport, Roads and Major Projects, Councillor Elizabeth Thompson, will on Saturday host a unique tour of the City's IRT/MyCiTi bus stations with the focus on the artwork adorning the stations.

Local artists were commissioned to do murals for the MyCiTi bus stations at Civic Centre, the Cape Town International Airport and the Cape Town Stadium.

Along with guests from the Goodman Gallery, Councillor Thompson will on Saturday visit two of the stations to introduce members of the media to the artists responsible for the murals.
