Gugulethu/Manenberg Youth Cafe to be launched by Minister Fritz

14 June 2016

Minister Albert Fritz will on Thursday launch the province’s sixth Youth Café, opposite the Nyanga Junction train station, Cape Town.

The location of this Youth Café is important, as it brings together the youth of two communities purposefully divided by our Apartheid past.

This new Youth Café will be operated by our NGO partner, Amandla EduFootball, and forms part of the Youth Safe Hub initiative, recently launched by Premier Helen Zille.

The Youth Café will offer opportunities for entrepreneurial, leadership and other skills training, including internet access for job seekers or entrepreneurs.

There will be an opportunity for photos and interviews.

Date: 16 June 2016 (Thursday)

Time: 11:30am

Venue: Gugulethu/Manenberg Youth Café (near Intshukumo Secondary School), Opposite Nyanga Junction Train Station, Gugulethu, Cape Town
