DCAS-supported Dressage Championships hosted in Stellenbosch

The Western Cape Dressage Championships took place at the Stellenbosch Riding Club from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 December 2020.

The event was supported by the Western Cape Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport and hosted by Cape Winelands Equestrian.

“The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport is proud to be a part of this event that has been excellently organized under strict Covid-19 protocol. Our department continues to encourage excellence and inclusivity,” said Sport Promotion Officer, Dyllon van der Rheede.

The event consisted of various categories such as the Children Novice Championships, Junior Medium Elementary Championship and The Advanced Freestyle Championship.

The event aims at establishing top ranked saddle seat riders in various categories. The department has made a financial contribution to the event.
