Tomorrow, 25 youth participants who successfully completed the Youth Entrepreneurship Workshop in Robertson, will be honoured with a graduation ceremony.

The Western Cape MEC of Social Development, Albert Fritz, joined by Langeberg Municipality Executive Mayor, Cllr. Henry Jansen, and will handover certificates of completion to the participants.

The participants are aged between 16 – 35 years old, and are from communities in Robertson and surrounding areas. All of the participants are from poor backgrounds, and many are not in education, employment or training (NEETs).

This initiative is in line with the department’s efforts to build a generation of confident and self-reliant youth, and is guided by the Provincial Youth Development Strategy.
