• The art competition is open to grade 1-3 learners only.
• The story competition is open to grade 4-7 only.
• Art and stories should be about how to stop and respond to fires and floods.
• Anything can be used for the art competition e.g. paint or crayons.
• Stories can be written in English, Xhosa or Afrikaans.
• 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners per language will get prizes.
• Stories should not be more then 200 words.
• Stories and Art will be judged on:
  Creativity, 2) Knowledge and understanding of fire and flood safety tips, and (3) Uniqueness
