The NHI Bill public hearings, facilitated by Parliament, are coming up shortly.

NHI Bill public hearing dates in the Western Cape:

• 4 February 2020 – West Coast District: Alan Boesak Hall, Piketberg (16:30 - 20:30)
• 5 February 2020 – Cape Town Metro: Khayelitsha Multipurpose Hall, Khayelitsha (16:30 - 20:30)
• 7 February 2020 – Garden Route District: George Civic Centre, George (16:30 - 20:30)
• 8 February 2020 – Central Karoo District: Youth Hub in Kwa Mandlenkosi, Beaufort West (10:00 - 15:00)

We urge everyone to attend, if possible, and to familiarise themselves with the content of the NHI Bill to be able to engage constructively.

For your reference, we have attached the Western Cape comments which summarise the detailed comments submitted to the National Portfolio Committee on Health.
