Department engages on training issues

The Department of Local Government through the Municipal and Capacity Building Chief-Directorate held a National Municipal Capacity Coordinating and Monitoring Committee Meeting (NMCCMC) for various stakeholders on 28-29 June 2023 at Cape Town Lodge Hotel.

The purpose of the meeting was to provide a platform to exchange views training and on providing a single window of coordination of all capacity building and efforts provided in the Sector nationally.

The two-day session was attended by officials from various government Sector Departments, Provincial Departments of Cooperative Governance, South African Local Government Association (SALGA and Local Government Sector Education and Training Authority (LGSETA)
