Minister Winde to Speak at CapaCITi 2012 Programme Launch

18 March 2012
On Tuesday, 20 March 2012, Western Cape Minister for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism, Alan Winde, will deliver a speech at the CapaCITi 1000 Business Analysis and Systems Analysis (BASA) 2012 Programme Launch.

The CapaCITi 1000 programme - a Western Cape Government co-funded project - is designed to grow the Western Cape's pool of business analysts by training and mentoring unemployed graduates in order to meet this industry's skills shortage. To date, 97% of the programme's graduates are now employed in the industry. Previously, the industry was forced to acquire these skills from other countries.

Minister Winde will speak on the topic: "Growing Skills in Partnership makes us Better Together".
