Department of Infrastructure to host a Housing Database Drive in Cape Agulhas

The Western Cape Department of Infrastructure, in collaboration with the Cape Agulhas Municipality, will host a Housing Demand Database verification outreach. The drive aims to update and verify the information on the Housing Demand Database and will take place in Napier and Struisbaai on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th July 2023.

Western Cape Minister of Infrastructure, Tertuis Simmers, will be present at both registration stations. This initiative is part of the Western Cape Government's commitment to ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for housing allocations.

Residents of Cape Agulhas Municipality who are currently registered on the Housing Demand Database are strongly encouraged to come and update their information on the database. The drive will assist authorities in identifying and addressing the region's housing needs more effectively.

To participate in the Housing Database Drive, residents can obtain the registration and update forms from their local Municipal Housing offices. 

Members of the media are invited to join the Minister and Executive Mayor at the registration venues.

On Saturday, the venues will operate between 08h00 to 15h00.

On Sunday, the venues will operate between 08h00 to 12h00.
