Minister Simmers to visit the West Coast District Municipality from 16 -18 July

The Western Cape Government's Department of Infrastructure Ministerial District Municipality Outreach programme will conclude with a visit to the West Coast District Municipality from 16 - 18 July.

Minister of Infrastructure Tertuis Simmers has visited all the other district municipalities since the launch of the Department on April 1, 2023. Minister Simmers will commence his visit to West Coast District with a public meeting in Lutzvile this evening at 17h00. The community will receive an update on the Lutzville Housing project from the Minister and DDG of the Human Settlements branch. 

The department’s visit to the region will also include a meeting with the district municipality, the opening of the Saldanha Bay IDZ road, and infrastructure site visits including the Citrusdal access road (R303).
