Today, Monday 27 October 2014, Minister Debbie Schäfer will visit Belgravia High School as the majority of candidates across the Western Cape write their first 2014 National Senior Certificate (NSC) exam.
Candidates across the Western Cape will be writing their first NSC examination on Monday and will begin with English Home Language, English First Additional Language and English Second Additional Language.
This year 61 065 candidates will be writing the NSC. 49 271 full-time candidates registered for these examinations. There are a further 11 794 part-time candidates registered for the 2014 exam.
Today, Minister Schäfer will visit Belgravia High School where 108 Grade 12 candidates will write the 2014 NSC examination.
