5 December 2005

MEC Jacobs has welcomed the Acting Head of Department, Dr Lorraine Platzky who effectively took office on Monday, 5 December 2005 in an acting capacity until a suitable candidate is found.

MEC Jacobs says "Dr Platzky is a seasoned professional with great ability to effect the transformation agenda and further build this department. I wish her success in her new role."
