Minister Marais congratulates Springboks on spectacular World Cup win

Western Cape Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport Anroux Marais has congratulated the Springboks on their spectacular single point victory over New Zealand in the final of the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

“We congratulate our players. It was a hard-fought win. The Boks’ specialisation in winning by a single point has not been good for our nerves, but great for our hearts. They showed everyone, South Africa is a winning nation. Because they won, we all win,” Minister Marais said.
