Media Alert: Overberg District Receives R260 000 for Sporting Activities

Following the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport’s budget for the 2016/17 financial year, Minister Anroux Marais will hand over ceremonial cheques to each district across the province.  

Tomorrow, 13 April 2016, Minister Anroux Marais will officially present a cheque of R260 000 to the Overberg District’s sport federations in Caledon.

This allocation will undoubtedly promote sporting activities in the district through the provision of equitable, accessible and affordable sport facilities, programmes and services.
