Minister Plato to Conduct Community Walkabouts in Mitchells Plain

On Wednesday, 12 March 2014, Dan Plato, Western Cape Minister of Community Safety, will be visiting Tafelsig and Beacon Valley in Mitchells Plain to speak to residents about safety concerns, following the high number of gang-related shootings over the past weekend.

Minister Plato will use the opportunity to walk through the communities and provide residents with safety information. Feedback from the residents with regards to their safety concerns will also be provided to the Provincial Police Commissioner.
